Probably the most interesting inventions occur as they say by themselves. The well-known cellophane was obtained by accident in 1911, when a Swiss chemist wanted to invent a universal coating for tablecloths, which would not stick to stains, as a result of numerous experiments, a thin waterproof film or cellophane was obtained.
