A love of nature in the works of Shishkin.
In 1832, on January 25, in the city of Yelabuga, Vyateb province, a son Ivan was born in the family of merchant Ivan Shishkin. In the Kazan gymnasium, the future artist received his first education.
After 4 years of study, Ivan Shishkin entered the Moscow school of painting. In 1856, after finishing school, he decided to continue his studies in St. Petersburg and entered the Academy of Arts. Continue reading
